I hold a PhD in Linguistic, Literary and Cultural Studies from the University of Barcelona (UB), where I am currently a lecturer and researcher in English Linguistics. I am a member of the GRAL research group (UB) and have developed my research career within several state-funded projects focusing on second language acquisition, pronunciation development, and instructed SLA.

My current research interests lie in second language pronunciation development, with a particular focus on the effectiveness of pedagogical interventions such as high-variability phonetic training and pronunciation-focused task-based instruction. I am especially interested in how learners perceive, encode, and produce L2 speech, and how individual differences interact with instructional conditions to affect pronunciation outcomes.
